Dr. Mangulal Kethavath is a distinguished academician and experienced professional in the field of pharmacy, serving as the Head of the Department (HOD) for the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) program at Brilliant Grammar School Educational Society's Group of Institutions – Integrated Campus. With over 14 years of experience in academia, research, and industry, he has made significant contributions to pharmaceutical education and research.
Dr. Mangulal holds a PhD from Sunrise University, Rajasthan, where his research focused on the design and characterization of non-effervescent gastro-retentive floating drug delivery systems. His academic journey is marked by a deep commitment to enhancing pharmaceutical education and bridging the gap between theory and practical application. Throughout his career, he has consistently strived to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the dynamic field of pharmacy.
In addition to his teaching role, Dr. Mangulal is involved in various scholarly activities, including supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate students' research projects.
He has guided over 200 student projects at both B.Pharm and M.Pharm levels, with a special focus on pharmaceutical formulations, drug delivery systems, and related innovations. His contributions extend to the field of publication, with 14 research papers to his name in peer-reviewed journals, and his expertise is often sought in conferences and academic presentations, where he has shared his insights on the latest trends in pharmaceutical research and development.
A proactive leader, Dr. Mangulal has also been an active participant in numerous national and international conferences, faculty development programs (FDPs), and workshops, constantly staying updated with the latest advancements in pharmaceutical science. His academic interests include medicinal plant screening, pharmaceutics, and drug delivery systems, and he is particularly passionate about research that advances the therapeutic potential of drugs through innovative delivery methods.
Dr. Mangulal has also served in various roles such as an external examiner, evaluator, and observer for multiple universities and examination boards, further cementing his reputation in the field. His commitment to quality education, student mentorship, and research excellence has earned him respect among peers and students alike. He is an enthusiastic advocate for holistic learning, ensuring that his students not only acquire theoretical knowledge but also develop practical skills through hands-on experience in laboratories and real-world research environments.
A registered pharmacist with the Telangana Pharmacy Council, Dr. Mangulal is dedicated to the continuous improvement of pharmaceutical education and research, and he remains a valuable asset to the academic community.
